The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is already celebrating 35 years with a special edition

Mercedes-Benz will launch a special edition of the G -Class, which it will call the 35 Edition . This marks the 35th anniversary of the production of this model. Customers will be able to buy a special "gecko" in black, white or gray. It is distinguished from regular versions by special black bumpers, darkened front lights and eighteen-inch wheels. All cars of this edition also get the Sport Package . The interior will feature an AMG four-spoke multifunction steering wheel and black Nappa leather seats, door panels and dashboard. You will also find the color screen of the COMAND multimedia system on the dashboard.

The 35 Edition will be available as either the G350 Blue TEC or the G500 . The first mentioned has under the hood a three-liter six-cylinder diesel with a power of 211 horsepower and a seven-speed automatic transmission , which accelerates from rest to 100 km/h in 9 seconds. The more powerful G500 is powered by a 5.5 liter V8 engine with a capacity of 387 horsepower, which accelerates to 100 km/h in 3 seconds faster and has a maximum speed of 247 km/h. The cheaper model will cost roughly 2.8 million CZK, and you will pay an additional 400,000 for the G500 model.
