The Honda CR-Z got a good portion of power

The Honda CR-Z was never a box office hit, and probably the main culprit was, and actually still is, the underpowered hybrid powertrain under the hood. The CR-Z has almost completely withdrawn from Europe, but you can still buy it in the US, and the performance that has been called for so many times has now come to the fore.

The Honda Performance Development (HPD) racing division has prepared for all owners of new, but also older CR-Zs starting with the 2013 model year, a supercharger kit that raises the output from the standard 132 hp to a significantly more interesting 200 hp and 238 Nm of torque! In addition to the supercharger itself, a new air filter, redesigned intercooler, high-flow fuel injectors and an optimized control unit took care of the increase. All this will cost 5,495 dollars (approx. 115,000 crowns) and the installation will be carried out by any dealership of the Japanese brand without interfering with the five-year warranty.

However, if you want to spruce up your Honda even more, HPD offers a limited-slip differential , sports clutch and shock absorbers, lowered springs, 300 mm brake discs and a sports exhaust from the mechanical parts. Visually, you can opt for 18-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires or a body kit with front and rear spoilers and a rear diffuser.
