The Audi A6L converted into a pickup truck is the work of a Chinese dealer of the brand

Audi currently does not have a pickup truck in its production program, but one clever Chinese dealer of the four rings wanted one so much that he built one himself. The extended version of the A6 sedan served as the basis, but you won't see its part on the road yet.

Before we get into the presentation of the car itself, it should be noted that the A6L, from which the pickup is based, was written off after a serious accident . However, the Audi dealer saved what remained intact and rebuilt the car in his own image from the B-pillar onwards . Instead of seats or a trunk, you will find a yellow bed area with a protective frame, the chassis is slightly raised compared to the standard, and the 17- inch wheels take their inspiration from the significantly more luxurious R8 coupe.

Under the hood, we won't find a V10, as the RS6 badge on the radiator grille might suggest, but a turbocharged 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 173 hp, with a maximum speed of 180 km/h. The equipment includes xenon lights , front and rear parking sensors or a double chrome exhaust tip. The only obstacle is the fact that the A6L Pickup does not have homologation, at least not yet, and thus cannot go into regular traffic .
