Jay Leno – Oldsmobile 442

This time, Jay took a real muscle car to the garage – an Oldsmobile 442 from 1969. It does not belong to him, but to his friend Paul Jackson . He is a well-known musician, but also a car collector and car enthusiast. He got the Oldsmobile because his dad had an older model of the car. But his Oldsmobile 442 is not a collector's item, Paul uses it for daily driving. And Jay (and us) like that very much, because cars are supposed to drive and interesting cars not only make the owner happy, but also us petrolheads who meet them randomly on the street. But before the Oldsmobile was lucky enough to become a passenger car, it had to go through a complete renovation. We get to see the whole car in a lot of close-ups, but I personally spent the whole video looking forward to Jay starting the engine and going for a drive. And it didn't disappoint me. That's exactly what muscles are about. The whole car has a lowered Hotchkis chassis, which causes Jay to have a minor accident on the highway. So definitely stick to watching until the end.
