Chevrolet has released more information and photos of the new Aveo

We briefly introduced the modernized Chevrolet Aveo for the Chinese market at the end of May . However, with the start of sales, the American-Korean automaker released more photos and new information about the small hatchback and sedan.

At the outset, it should be said that the modernized Aveo will be sold under the name New Aveo at the same time as the previous version. In terms of appearance, however, no stone was left unturned. The radiator grille is now narrower, has a chrome frame, a new structure and is no longer optically connected to the intake opening of the front bumper. And speaking of the front bumper, it is also new with a different air intake and fog lights with chrome details. The front lights have a new shape and received LEDs for daytime running lights. At the back, a new bumper and, above all, headlights found their place. They are more conventional than the predecessor. Depending on the selected equipment, the design and size of the alloy wheels is selected.

In the interior, you can immediately register a completely new device compartment. You will still find a digital speedometer and tachometer in a conventional design, only its processing is no longer analog, but also digital. The on-board computer now offers more functions and the equipment includes the MyLink multimedia system with a rear camera, Internet connection, voice control, reading SMS messages and USB or Bluetooth connectivity. Passengers will surely appreciate better materials along with new seat covers, modified plastic door panels and better insulation.

The engine range in China consists of only two petrol units. The weaker 14-horsepower engine has an output of 100 horsepower and is connected exclusively to a manual transmission, while the stronger 115-horsepower 16-horsepower engine works only with a six-speed automatic. The New Avea chassis is tuned to a more comfortable note.
