Porsche Secrets – Prototype 911 Turbo

The first prototype of the Porsche 911 Turbo was presented to the public at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1973. However, the designers showed it for the very first time at Louisa Piëch 's birthday in the same year. The serial version came to showrooms a year later.

Today, Louisa Piëch 's car is housed in the automaker's museum in Stuttgart , as the first 911 Turbo ever produced. We remind you that this lady is the mother of the head of the Volkswagen Group , Ferdinand Piëch , and the daughter of Ferdinand Porsche . The car has been partially modified according to Ms. Louisa's requirements, so it does not have Turbo badges or tinted windows.

Don't forget the previous parts about the 965 V8 prototypes, the mid-engine 911 , and the aerodynamically modified 911 .
