Render of the production version of the Skoda VisionC

At the beginning of the century, Skoda returned the pre-war Superb name to the market, followed in 2012 by the post-war Rapid . The third old-fashioned name to join the party could be Garde , representing a compact coupe in the 1980s.

And the coupe would continue to represent the name, albeit a coupe in its four-door form . The Garde name could appear on the rear of the production version of the VisionC concept , that is, if we ever see it.

Digital designer X-Tomi Design thinks so, and so he immediately presented us with a possible serial form of VisionuC . Compared to the concept, it lacks the poisonous green color, the triangular fog lamps or the recessed door handles, but it still looks very bold on the Skoda of the current production . The sharp shape of the main headlights has been preserved, as well as the radiator grille, the window line or the shaping of the rear parts.

However, the production version has not been decided yet. If we ever see it, it will be in the next two years , and it would occupy a place in the range between the Octavia and the Superb . So it would have the role of a kind of Volkswagen CC from Mladá Boleslav.
