What will the new Fabia most likely look like?

The third generation Skoda Fabia has definitely been the most sought-after car on Czech roads in the last few days. The car company from Mladá Boleslav itself condemned it to a certain extent by sending camouflaged prototypes to the Czech highways . However, it is only thanks to them that we can get a picture of the design of the popular Czech compact.

And so that we don't just look at spy photos with unsightly camouflage , we bring you a rendering of the server indianautosblog.com , which captures the design of the third Fabia very reliably. Basically, it shows a front part similar to Rapid or Octavia in an unmasked form with a new corporate grille and large fog lights. The slightly raised line of the door near the side window of the rear passengers stands out from the profile, as well as the large rear headlights .

As for the technology, we only know that we will not see the use of the MQB platform , officially for the sake of keeping the price affordable. The Fabia will therefore ride on a modified PQ25 platform , which is used by the current model. On the contrary, the engine range will be as modern as possible when it receives TSI and TDI units, which were used for the first time in the modernized Polo this spring.

We know for sure that we will see a five-door hatchback and also a practical station wagon. At the beginning of May, speculations spread that Skoda is also working on the return of the sedan body . However, due to the existence of Rapid, this possibility does not seem very realistic. On the other hand, what we know for sure is the absence of the RS version , which is good for the car company from Mladá Boleslav in terms of marketing, but sales remain below expectations. More emphasis will be placed on the sporty looking Monte Carlo versions.
