Nissan introduced a sedan with a Mercedes engine

We last mentioned the collaboration between Nissan and Mercedes in the case of the luxury limousine Infiniti Q100 , which will receive the German MBA platform. However, the first real product of this collaboration is called the Skyline 200GT-t .

The car as such is nothing special, that is, if we ignore the presence in the Nissan showroom and the Infiniti logo on the hood (more on that in the older presentation of the Skyline ), however, it has a two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder under the hood with an output of 211 hp and a torque of 350 Nm, which comes from German three-pointed star .

Specific dynamic data are not known, but Nissan promises great response to the gas pedal and strong acceleration. As such, the unit is equipped with direct fuel injection, variable valve timing and a stop/start system. All this has reportedly helped push consumption down to 7.3 l/100 km according to the Japanese JC08 standard.

The new engine is also accompanied by modified rear suspension and optional adaptive steering. Nissan expects to sell about 200 cars per month at a base price of ¥3,834,000 (approx. CZK 761,000).
