The Ford Mustang turns 50 this year, which probably annoys all motoring fans because they've heard it so many times. But such a legend simply deserves it. This year, the Silverstone Classic festival is also betting on the fifties. And so they decided to prepare the trailer with the Mustang .
The Mustang became famous mainly as Steve McQueen 's car in the legendary film Bullitt . The Dodge Charger chase is still considered the best in movie history. No one seems to mind that more hoods come off the Charger than it has wheels, and that even after it supposedly explodes, a passing car can still be seen driving for a few seconds. And so the organizers of the festival decided to film their remake of this famous chase as an advertisement. How they managed it, you can judge for yourself. For comparison, we also include the original chase from the film.
