Ford has released the first information about its F-150 SVT Raptor model for the 2013 model year. The majestic-looking pick-up has undergone only modest modifications, but it still looks absolutely incredible. The first noticeable change is the new wheels, which offer protection against the tire coming off the rim at low pressure. There are also slightly modified rear lights, newly with HID technology , as well as a completely new body paint.
Inside the cabin we find a modified dashboard and a modified instrument panel. However, the biggest innovation is the MyFord information system, which displays its data both on the display in the instrument cluster and on the eight-inch touchscreen in the middle of the dashboard.
The power that this crumb possesses comes from a 6.2-liter forked eight-cylinder engine. The maximum output is 306 kW (417 hp), the torque is 588 Nm. The drive unit is connected to all wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission.
