The four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines rely on many technologies from the Minimalism program , which increase dynamics while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. The new Mini Cooper S Paceman features a 5 kW increase in engine power to 140 kW. This shift reduced the time from 0 to 100 km/h by 0.1s to 7.4s, while acceleration from 80 to 120 km/h in 5th gear was reduced by 0.2s to 8.3s .The combined consumption figure has dropped to 6.0 l/100 km and the production of CO2 emissions to 139 g/km. Improved dynamic capabilities are also inherent to the Mini Cooper Paceman, Mini Cooper D Paceman, Mini Cooper SD Paceman, as well as the sporty version of the Mini John Cooper Works Paceman.
