Dodge introduced a significantly modernized Charger

The only four-door muscle car on the market, the Dodge Charger , has undergone a major facelift. During it, the American automaker replaced almost all body panels , significantly changed the interior, but the technology remained basically the same.

The main design inspiration was the smaller Dodge Dart , from which the Charger mainly borrowed the rendering of the front mask, which is followed by new headlights with a distinctive LED C. LEDs can also be found in the new rear lights, which form a continuous band across the entire width of the rear. The Charger of the 2015 model year is also equipped with a new hood , fenders or doors, for an additional fee you can also buy LED diode fog lights and a three-part rear spoiler (standard on the R/T version) for an additional fee. There are also up to six different 20-inch wheel designs to choose from, which appear as standard on the R/T version, and the paint palette has been expanded to include blue B5 and red TorRed.

In the cabin, a seven-inch TFT display found a place, a new Uconnect central multimedia system with a radio, 3D navigation and a 5-inch or 8.4-inch screen and a modified steering wheel. For an additional fee, the Charger can also have a Wi-Fi spot . Like every modernization, the Charger also brought up to 8 new interior decors. In terms of technical assistants , the sedan is equipped with a lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a frontal collision warning or a modified braking assistant.

Under the hood of the modernized Charger, we can find only gasoline engines – the basic Pentastar has a volume of 3.6 liters , six cylinders, 296 hp and 353 Nm, the more powerful and still the top Hemi version has a volume of 5.7 liters , eight cylinders, 375 hp and 535 Nm. The new TorqueFlight eight-speed automatic transmission is standard for both models, and in addition to rear-wheel drive, there is also four-wheel drive for the SXT and SE versions.

An interesting option may be the Rallye Appearance Group package, which is available for the six-cylinder Pentastar. What does it bring? Reprogrammed control unit, new intake and sports exhaust system. The result is 8 more horsepower and better engine response when you step on the gas pedal.
