Toyota introduced the updated Camry sedan

Toyota's best-selling car on the American market has received a significant modernization. The Camry sedan borrows design cues from its sister Avalon and adds a better ride quality and a new interior.

In terms of styling, the modernized sedan has a larger front bumper with a more prominent air intake and a larger radiator grille . At both ends of the car we find new lights with LEDs, and the front part also offers LEDs for daytime running lights. Thanks to modified bumpers, the Camry is 45 mm longer overall and offers a 10 mm wider wheelbase. There will be a total of 10 body colors on offer, including the newcomers – Celestial Silver metallic and Ruby Flare Pearl.

The interior of the new Toyota Camry will be quieter than before thanks to better sealing of windows and doors or thicker carpets. The instrument panel has been enriched with a 4.2-inch TFT display (for SE, XLE and XSE versions), the center panel has received a larger storage compartment for a mobile phone and a redesigned display of the multimedia system. In the already mentioned central compartment, it is then possible to charge your phone using wireless technology at an additional cost. Furthermore, there is also a standard 12 volt power supply with a USB port.

Under the hood, we find the same range of units as before the facelift, which includes a 2.5-liter four-cylinder (181 hp, 230 Nm), a 3.5-liter six-cylinder (272 hp, 336 Nm) and a hybrid system with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a total output of 203 hp. The classic units cooperate with a six-speed automatic, the hybrid with an E-CVT automatic.
