Ford is celebrating the 50th birthday of the Mustang

For five decades , the name Mustang has appeared in the automotive sky. And because the fifties are not only a significant stage in a person's life, the blue oval has prepared a special edition Mustang called the 50 Year Limited Edition .

Only 1964 will be produced, exactly the same number as the year of production of the first Mustang, in Wimbledon white paint or Kona blue paint . Other exterior changes include a chrome surround for each of the three taillight sections, an original Mustang-style grille, and a "ribbed" small side window. The use of the Mustang badge in the rear as a fake tank cap is interesting. The wheels are nineteen inches, shod with Pirelli P Zero sports tires and Brembo brakes are hidden behind them.

Changes to the interior were limited to new seat covers in a combination of black leather and light cashmere, a leather steering wheel with cashmere stitching, special edition logos and, of course, a plaque with the serial number of that particular model.

Technically, the Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition is based on the model with the Performance package , which in practice means the use of a five-liter eight-cylinder engine with an output of 426 horsepower and a torque of 528 Nm. From the transmissions, you can choose between a six-speed manual or an equally graduated automatic. The automatic version also gets a Torsen limited-slip differential.
