Subaru’s updated Viziv 2 concept

Last year's Geneva Motor Show hosted the premiere of the Viziv concept , which revealed the brand's future in the SUV segment. This year's Geneva brings a redesigned Viziv with a more realistic design and the name Viziv 2 .

The primary element is the hexagonal grille , which can also be found, for example, on the new Legacy. At both ends of the model, in addition to the normal lights, we also find a pair of circular fog lights, which optically add an adventurous appearance to the car. The rear lamps alone give the impression that the Viziv 2 is wider than the actual 1930mm. The length of the SUV or crossover is 4435 mm , the height is 1530 mm, and the wheelbase is 2730 mm.

The interior offers space for four passengers , and the design focuses primarily on the green backlighting of several displays . The first replaces classic analog alarm clocks, the second has the function of a classic multimedia system . In addition to the backlight, there are also other elements in a green shade.

Under the hood, we find a plug-in hybrid powertrain , consisting of a 1.6-liter direct-injection four-cylinder gasoline engine and three electric motors – 1 in the front, 2 in the back. The entire system cooperates with a CVT automatic and all-wheel drive , which is controlled by rear electric motors. This technology is supposed to provide ideal control over the vehicle on any surface under any conditions. Despite the installation of several electric motors and a battery, the Viziv 2 is ideally balanced and has a low center of gravity.
