Nissan Note will get a new engine

The range of Nissan Note will be a bit wider from the Geneva Motor Show . Those who like three-cylinders will certainly reach for the supercharged twelve- hundredth, while fans of dynamic design will use the Dynamic Styling package .

The new 1200 DIG-S supercharged with a supercharger produces a maximum power of 98 hp and a torque of 147 Nm. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and an XTronic automatic , with the Note consuming 4.3 l/100 km and emitting 99 g of CO2/km with the manual transmission. The engine is distinguished primarily by its use of the Miller cycle , which means open intake valves at the beginning of the compression stroke. Also interesting is the electronic clutch of the compressor , which disconnects it when it is not in use. Nissan expects the new unit to account for up to 1/4 of Note series sales.

The second novelty is the Dynamic Styling package , which is essentially a European designation for the previously introduced Versa Note SR model . New is the shaping of the front bumper, side skirts and rear bumper with a fake carbon diffuser . The radiator grille has a new glossy black design, the lights are also darkened and there is a spoiler in the rear . Sixteen-inch two-tone wheels and a new steering wheel inspired by the 370Z sports coupe complete the list of changes.
