After the Cascada and Zafira Tourer , the Opel Astra GTC also received the new turbocharged four-cylinder 1.6 SIDI Turbo . If we were to leave out the sharp Astra OPC, this unit is even the most powerful engine in the three-door hatchback range.
The petrol unit has a maximum output of 200 hp at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 300 Nm between 1,650 and 3,500 rpm. In conjunction with a six-speed manual transmission , this is enough to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, a top speed of 230 km/h and a combined consumption of 6.6 l/100 km. CO2 emissions are at a value of 154 g/km.
You can already buy the new engine on the Czech market – in the basic Enjoy equipment it will cost 554,900 CZK (in the current promotion 487,900 CZK ), in the middle equipment Active for 589,900 CZK (in the current promotion 501,900 CZK) and in the highest equipment Sport for 598 900 CZK (510,900 CZK in the current promotion).
