Steven Tyler took delivery of his Hennessey Venom GT Spyder

We already wrote about the brutal supersport project, which was impatiently awaited by the frontman of the band Aerosmith . However, we have now received news of the car being taken over by Steven Tyler himself, who by this time is already roaming the streets and highways around Miami.

John Hennessey , founder of Hennessey Performance , revealed that a number of interventions had to be carried out related to the spyder's bodywork. According to his words, the weight of the car increased by 30 kilograms, but excessive twisting of the body was prevented.

However, Hennessey did not leave anything to chance and adequately increased the performance of the special Venom GT Spyder model. An increase of 30 horses again returned the car to the dream ratio of one horsepower per kilogram of weight. Specifically, it weighs 1,244 kilograms, which is set in motion by an eight-cylinder engine with a volume of 6.2 liters and a power of 1,244 horsepower. Through a six-speed manual transmission, the entire herd is sent to the rear wheels, while the car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. More interesting, however, is the time it takes the Venom GT Spyder to reach a speed of 330 km/h. With 15.3 seconds, it beats even the Bugatti Veyron ! At this speed, Tyler's alcohol- and fet-wracked face is still far behind the back hood.

Hennessey has announced plans to build five examples of the Venom GTS , and each will be available over the next year with prices starting at $950,000. However, Tyler's Venom GT Spyder was somewhat more expensive. The rock legend paid $1,100,000 for the car.
