Some cars meet these criteria better than others. They are popular with women to the point that men don't dare to sit in them, as it would hurt their ego. So today we have selected five machines that men might bitterly regret not being behind the wheel of the popular district. We can't start otherwise than with the already almost legendary Mx5. The best-selling roadster in the world with its appearance, in my eyes, focused the most on women in the second generation, which is hidden under the name NB. Your girlfriend will surely appreciate the easily retractable roof, pleasant controls and the reliability of the tiny Mazda. But then you get into it, you quickly leave the city so that there are no rumors about your change of sexual orientation, and you find yourself on a crooked road. The light-footed Mazda rolls up the fenders and leans into a corner, giving you a sense of well-being. The chattering steering will dance in your hands and sharply directs the car towards the apex of the corner, the Mazda enters it with ease in a slight oversteer, calms down in the middle of the curve, which, however, encourages you to press the gas to the floor and exit in a mild powerslide. Thanks to the precision of the shifting, you will change gears just for fun, play with intermediate gases and crush the small engine, constantly provoking the Mazda to overdrive. And she will support you in this, she won't bite. You will never get tired of finding new, ever new ways to get around a corner in this car. Only then explain to the woman why the tires have almost no tread and the brakes smoke… We recommend the 1.8 140 hp model with a six-speed manual and self-locking, but any Mx5 can entertain.
2. BMW 130i
You must have noticed it too. Many ladies of various ages drive the top-of-the-line BMW, although it's not exactly a typical ladies' car. It is hard to say why the smallest BMW attracts them so much, in any case it is the dream of many female drivers. And after the introduction of the new generation, which seems to be responsible for many untimely deaths of people with an aesthetic sense, it is the perfect time to buy the outgoing number one, ideally with an atmospheric six-cylinder with a volume of three liters and 265 horses. He is also about to retire, which is something true BMW fans have to hold back a tear. While your wife will be in shape thanks to the new car as a star, you will happily take her keys and enjoy the sonorous singing, honey running and smooth pull of the six-cylinder engine. Add to this the inherent balance of the chassis, a pleasant position behind the wheel and rear-wheel drive. It may be a small hatchback, but it has a lot of heart and would give out for the driver. We would choose the pre-facelift model, it seems to have better handling than the upgraded version.
3. Ford Puma
The round Puma is cuteness itself. Even after years, it still manages to attract the attention of the ladies and thanks to its low price, it is an ideal machine for novice drivers. Although it is based on the Fiesta chassis, it can demonstrate unprecedented qualities. However, be sure to pay extra for the 1.7 engine with 125 hp. It's from Yamaha, it's reliable, it has character and it can make a light Puma move decently. And then we have the chassis. Unusually playful, communicative and fun. The Puma is capable of shredding the roads effectively, as well as cornering in oversteer, making the driver smile from ear to ear. Although it looks like a cheap toy from the market, it communicates with the driver at the level of the best sports cars. In addition, it is cheap to maintain, quite practical and will not get lost in the crowd. Petrolhead should always put the driving experience above style or image. It's no different with Puma.
4. VW Lupo GTI
You won't stumble upon a VW Lupo in the Czech Republic, let alone a GTI version. The tiny city stroller is far more popular west of our borders. However, it fits exactly the taste of ladies. It is small, simple, cute-looking and, in the GTI version, charming in its own way. Nice red color and big wheels, under the hood an enthusiastic 1.6 with 125 horses, which does not have much to do with a tiny bump on the wheels. It is ideal to buy a version with a six-speed manual, it will make the best use of the potential of the above-average engine. After all, it's a shame that this 1.6 only made it into the Lupo and Polo GTI, because VW probably didn't even make a better four-cylinder at the time. The hardened chassis from the crew did not shake the soul, but at the same time it conquered the winding roads with the enthusiasm of a ten-year-old child who received a Playstation for his birthday. The smallest hothatches are hardly seen today, and the Lupo GTI proves to us that this is a shame. More small, fun and light cars please!
5. Mini Cooper S
We can't end this selection without the reincarnated Mini. Under the baton of BMW, a car was created that immediately wrapped the customer around its finger. Cool retro look and.. um, he actually totally nailed the look. A large alarm clock in the interior, round lights – this dumpling would be a guaranteed success even without other good features. We recommend the first generation of the "new" Cooper S, which, unlike the current model, was powered by a supercharged 1.6 engine from Chrysler with 163 horsepower. A very characterful engine sputtering constantly into the exhaust, an uncompromising chassis and the aura of the original Mini, all this ensured the joy of driving and even the trip to the store became a big event. You can have all this pocket drama today at affordable prices and women will love you.
