Citroën presented the production version of the DS3 Cabrio Racing

Citroën DS3 Racing was helped to tune the double arrow by Sébastien Loeb himself, and this is perhaps the reason why the stylish hatchback ranks among the best Citroëns today in terms of driving characteristics . Next year, the hatchback will also be joined by an open variant with the simple name Cabrio.

Compared to the concept that was shown this year at Goodwood and in Frankfurt , the production version has practically not changed. The matte Moondust Gray paintwork with some red details, the black canvas roof, the dual exhaust tips and some chrome accessories have been preserved. For a change, the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser are made of carbon .

The interior is equipped with sports seats in a combination of Nappa leather and Alcantara, Moondust Gray decor, matching the body color, several red accents and carbon trim . Each model will be equipped with a plaque with a model number, of which there will be only 400 in total .

Under the hood, we will see a turbocharged 16-liter THP with a power of 209 horses. Although we do not know the exact dynamic parameters, Citroën boasts that the weight has increased by only 25 kg compared to the hatchback, which together makes the total weight 1265 kg. According to estimates, acceleration to 100 km/h should take place in about 6.5 seconds.
