Fiat introduced a new hatchback for China

After the Viaggio , Fiat comes with another purely Chinese model. And it's no surprise when I say that the new product is the lower middle class hatchback Ottimo , derived from the Viaggio sedan.

The Viaggio is already based on the Dodge Dart , which for a change offers Alfa Romeo Giulietta technology , and the same is the case with the Ottima. In addition, it retains all the important design elements of the compact sedan , except, of course, for the rendering of the roof line and the rear part. Here you can find inspiration, for example, from the already mentioned Giulietta.

The Guangzhou-Fiat concern will start producing and selling the Ottimo this year at a price of around 100,000 yuan (approx. 330,000 CZK). Under the hood, we can find a turbocharged 14-liter in two power variants – 120 or 150 horsepower. There will be a choice of a five-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
