Subaru shows the concept of a new station wagon in Tokyo

While the concept of the next-generation Legacy is shown in Los Angeles , a pre-production form of a station wagon that will fit under the Legacy in size is presented in Tokyo. Levorg will appear on the market next year and will want to combine practicality and comfort on longer routes together with dynamic driving characteristics .

The 4,690 mm long , 1,780 mm wide and 1,485 mm high station wagon with a 2,650 mm wheelbase is based on the design of the last generation Impreza, but compared to it, it still looks more dynamic. For the first time ever, the Pearl Crystal white color appears on any Subaru, which is complemented by the gray-blue Steel metallic. According to the photos, the interior offers space for five passengers and their luggage. From the first photos, it can be seen that there are several screens and a classic Subaru steering wheel.

Under the hood of the production version, which will appear in the spring of next year, will be either a turbocharged 16 -liter petrol engine with a power of 170 hp and a torque of 250 Nm or a turbocharged two-liter gasoline engine with a power of 300 hp and a torque of 400 Nm. Both engines have standard all-wheel drive and a Lineartronic transmission.

It goes without saying that there are many safety systems, of which EyeSight is worth mentioning, which warns of lane departure and can automatically control the steering.
