Honda showed the production form of a small SUV in Tokyo

Current trends in the automotive industry are clear – to produce small SUVs , sometimes referred to as urban crossovers. After this year's boom by European manufacturers, further expansion awaits us next year, and one of the new representatives will be the Vezel , a small SUV from Honda .

In terms of design, it can be seen that the Urban SUV concept from the beginning of this year was not just a design exercise. Vezel took over from him the rendering of the rear part, prominent fenders, "hidden" rear door handles and, in fact, the front part as well. The shape of the body is intended to make potential buyers feel that it resembles a coupe .

This idea is also transferred to the interior, which offers enough space, especially in the front seats. What is typical of today's small SUVs that target a younger clientele is the large screen of the multimedia system . The trio of ventilation outlets in front of the passenger is special.

In Japan, where the Vezel will appear first, it will be available with a conventional 1.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder with direct fuel injection or a hybrid unit consisting of the same engine and an electric motor.
