Nissan will offer up to five electric cars!

Sales of green cars are growing, whether we're talking about hybrids or electric cars. The Japanese Nissan currently has only one electric car in its range – the Leaf . However, the e-NV200 will be added in the future, but it won't stop there. The automaker plans to offer up to five electric cars !

The success of the Nissan Leaf electric car is not as great as originally expected, so it was long speculated that the Japanese manufacturer would partially resent this method of propulsion. However, according to official information, the opposite is true. In the future , the number of electric Nissans will grow even more .

The electric version of the NV200 van is planned to go on sale soonest , which should prove that even this type of drive can be interesting for practical drivers. A little later, a significantly redesigned version of the Leaf with the Infiniti emblem on the front should come. The other two models are still uncertain. However, Nissan management stated that it will not be any of the current cars. He wants to offer the electric version only for models that have been prepared for his installation since the very beginning of development.

According to speculation, one of the future cars with the option of electric drive could be the new generation Nissan Qashqai . Nothing more is known about the latest fifth model yet, but it is only a matter of time before the car company will comment on the matter itself in more detail.

An interesting feature of the new electric cars is also supposed to be induction charging , which means the possibility of powering the batteries without using a wire. The owner would simply park the car in the garage on a special mat, which would then take care of acquiring the car itself. This technology will mainly be used by the more luxurious Infiniti electric cars, it will reach Nissans later.

The development of wireless inductive battery charging is also the reason why the presentation of some of the mentioned models has been delayed. Nissan wants to be sure that when it launches the technology on the market, it will be 100% functional .
