What will appear under the hood of the new Nissan Qashqai?

The premiere of the second generation of the popular Nissan Qashqai is fast approaching. The British Autocar managed to reveal what the family Nissan will have under the hood.

Fans of gasoline units may be slightly disappointed. Only the version with a turbocharged 1.2 DiG-T engine with a power of 115 hp will drive the natural 95. However, the range of diesel engines will not be much better from the start – either the 1.5 dCi with 110 hp or the 1.6 dCi with 130 hp will be on offer.

However, thanks to the use of the CMF (Common Module Family) modular platform , which Nissan developed together with Renault, we will also see a hybrid version in the future. As in the case of the outgoing generation, the novelty will also receive all-wheel drive . This will be available for an additional fee for the diesel sixteen-cylinder, but as standard, all engines must be satisfied with front-wheel drive.

As you may already know, the second generation Qashqai will not receive the extended version +2 . The reason is the third generation SUV X-Trail , which will replace the function of this model. The premiere of the family Nissan is expected already in November this year, and sales should then start at the beginning of 2014.
