Chevrolet presented a new generation of large SUVs

The Chevrolet Tahoe and its larger twin, the Suburban , are among the best-selling large SUVs on the American market. At the beginning of next year, customers will receive new versions of both models , which will offer, in addition to a new look, many technical improvements.

Compared to its predecessor, the pair received new front lights from Chevrolet, a modified radiator grille and a slightly changed body shape and position of the rear side windows. You will find eighteen-inch wheels in the basic equipment, they can be four inches larger for an extra charge. The interior is now made of better materials and its dominant feature is the eight-inch screen of the MyLink multimedia system . Thanks to better noise reduction, the ride should be much more comfortable for all passengers. A panoramic interior rear-view mirror will also contribute to better travel comfort, as well as the fact that passengers of the Suburban model can enjoy an entertainment system with a DVD and Blu-ray player in the back seats.

Both Chevrolets are newly equipped with a body with a stronger frame and a wider track of the rear wheels, which contributes to better stability. Modified electronic power steering with a variable steering system contributes to a reduction in consumption, safer stopping is ensured by Duralife discs, which should offer up to twice the service life compared to the previous model. Versions in LTZ equipment will receive a chassis with the third generation of the "magnetic ride control" system.

All kinds of safety assistants are an integral part of the equipment. Among the newcomers to Chevrolet's offer are a collision warning system, a lane departure warning system, a system that detects vehicles when reversing or adaptive cruise control. Also new is the Safety Alert Seat system, which alerts the driver to an imminent collision with vibrations.
