Outside of the main interest, in Frankfurt stands the stand of the Chinese automobile company Chang'an . She is also the only one from this country to exhibit at the IAA. Visitors are attracted to a quartet of novelties – the CS35 and CS75 SUVs, the CS95 concept and the Eado XT hatchback.
The biggest novelty is the SUV CS75 , which has its world exhibition premiere in Frankfurt. The large SUV is characterized by a pleasing, but still somewhat copied design, and also wants to impress with safety. In the Chinese C-NCAP tests, the model received 5 stars. Under the hood can be a 2.0 four-cylinder petrol engine or a turbocharged 1.8T four-cylinder engine , both working only with a six-speed automatic. The ESC system, tire pressure monitor or six airbags appear as standard equipment.
The second, this time only European novelty, is the small crossover CS35 . It has a length of 4160 mm, a width of 1810 mm and a height of 1635 mm, so it fits exactly into the rapidly growing segment of urban crossovers. As with the CS75, the design of the CS35 is quite pleasing, but we have doubts about the actual originality. Under the hood, there is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine with a capacity of 125 horsepower, which is coupled to a five-speed manual, which can be replaced by a four-speed automatic on request.
The third novelty is the European premiere of the CS95 concept , which, with a length of 5380 mm, a width of 2120 mm and a height of 1770 mm, ranks alongside the largest SUVs on the European market. Under the hood is a hybrid system , consisting of a 3.5-liter six-cylinder gasoline engine with 245 horsepower and an electric motor with 167 horsepower. The entire system cooperates with an eight-speed automatic.
The latest news is the Eado XT hatchback, which belongs to the C segment. The design of the car is heavily inspired by many European models, but this does not change the fact that the Eado XT is good to look at (what a difference it is compared to other Chinese cars). Under the hood, there will be a 1.6 gasoline four-cylinder tuned to 126 hp or a turbocharged 1.5 unit with 152 hp.
The aforementioned SUV and hatchback will be complemented by the Raeton and Eado Hybrid sedans.
