Europeans could see the Chinese Qoros for the first time this year in Geneva . Many months have passed since then, and the Chinese automaker is starting to offer its 3 Sedan model in individual dealerships. Surprisingly, the first country where the model is available is Slovakia .
The Dutch importer Autobinck , which operates the network of Auto Palace car showrooms , became the exclusive importer . Auto Palace Panónska showroom, located in Bratislava, became the first where you can officially buy Qoros.
At the beginning of sales, the Elegance sedan will be available in the highest trim , which will be powered by a turbocharged 16-liter engine with a capacity of 156 horsepower. Of course, it meets the Euro 5 emission standard. The basic price was set at 20,960 euros (approx. 540,000 CZK). If the price seems high to you, know that after the introduction of sales and export of lower equipment levels, the price should drop well below 20,000 euros (approx. 515,000 CZK).
Cristiano Carlutti , the brand's director of sales for Europe and the Middle East, said at the start of the European campaign: "This is a very interesting time for Qoros and although sales are not our main goal, Slovakia is one of the main European markets for sedans. Our knowledge of sales in Slovakia will be very useful especially when we increase our presence in the markets of Central and Eastern Europe."
