Jeep will present a special edition of the off-road Wrangler in Frankfurt

The Jeep Wrangler has already been shown to the world in several limited editions. Let's randomly name the Arctic , Altitude or 10th Anniversary models. Wrangler Polar wants to follow up on all these models.

It will be presented for the first time in a week in Frankfurt , and visitors will surely be impressed by the distinctive Hydro Blue paint in combination with the unique design of the 18-inch wheels and stickers on the sides of the hood. The offer will include the Polar in two- and four-door body styles with a body-colored roof, a fixed spare wheel cover, and elements from Mopar have not been forgotten. To commemorate the origin of the name of the special Wrangler, Jeep placed the coordinates of Vostok , which is the polar station in Antarctica, where the lowest temperature in history (-98.2 degrees Celsius) was measured, on the front fenders.

The interior is tuned to black, and it is here and in the price list that you will probably find the biggest advantage of the Wrangler Polar . The basic equipment includes cruise control, heated front seats, a leather steering wheel and automatic air conditioning. For an unspecified extra charge, the Polar Pack 1 will be available, which includes, among other things, the Uconnect multimedia system with a 6.5-inch screen and side airbags for the front passengers.

Under the hood, a diesel four-cylinder 2.8 CRD can appear in combination with a five-speed automatic and possibly a six-speed manual (200 hp, 460 Nm with an automatic or 410 Nm with a manual) or a gasoline six-cylinder 3.6 in combination with a five-speed automatic (284 hp and 347 Nm). A Dana 30 front axle and a Dana 44 rear axle, a two-stage Command-Trac NV241 reduction gearbox and a Trac-Lok self-locking differential located between the rear wheels ensure perfect cross-country ability.
