Daihatsu has modernized the kei car Mira e:S

One of the most popular kei cars in Japan, the Daihatsu Mira e:S , has undergone a significant modernization . In addition to appearance changes, we will also see modified technology, which has only one goal – to keep the model at the top of the sales charts .

The exterior has received new headlights and a bumper, in the rear, LEDs may appear in the lights (depending on the equipment). A classic feature of every upgrade is the offer of new wheel designs and body colors.

The interior features new materials and a modified instrument panel. An interesting feature is the automatic braking system , which can automatically stop the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h when it detects an obstacle.

At first glance, nothing changes under the hood. Mira e:S is still equipped with a three-cylinder 0.6 , but thanks to the modification of the stop-start system and the new economic mode, it consumes only 3 liters per 100 km. The Mira e:S can still be equipped with optional all-wheel drive and a CVT automatic.

The twin Daihatsu Mira e:S – Subaru Pleo+ and triple Toyota Pixis Epoch also received the same changes. They differ from Daihatsu only by different car company logos. The basic price of the modernized Mira e:S, Plea+ and Pixis Epoch is 745,000 yen (approx. 147,000 CZK).
