The elegant Infiniti Q30 concept will be presented in Frankfurt

The Infiniti Q30 concept hints at the current vision of a compact car design that will be aimed at a new generation of premium customers and will be revealed in a world premiere at a press conference on September 10 at 10:15 a.m. in Frankfurt. It represents the next phase of Infiniti 's entry into new premium segments. It embodies Infiniti's vision to produce cars with eye-catching design, innovative materials and precision processing.

"The Infiniti Q30 concept is a prelude to the expansion of the product portfolio , which is the basis of our aggressive global growth strategy," said Johan de Nysschen, President, Infiniti Motor Company, Ltd. "We want to appeal to modern, young-minded premium customers, so the Q30 concept will be characterized by a distinctive style and a new high level of quality."

The Infiniti Q30 is the latest representative of the design philosophy that was first introduced on the Infiniti Q50 model, which had its world premiere at the International Auto Show in Detroit, USA this January. Like the Q50, the Infiniti Q30 concept incorporates distinctive design elements from the visionary trio of concepts – Essence, Etherea and Emerg-e .

The Japanese brand wants to cause a radical shift in the segment of premium compact cars. The bold design and graceful dynamic appearance of the Infiniti Q30 concept inspires greater expectations of how far it is possible to go beyond the boundaries of today's conventional automotive design. "The Q30 concept is sleek, elegant and appealing," says Alfonso Albaisa, Infiniti's executive director of design. “If you look at fast felines like the cheetah, they're lean and agile. It's almost like they're floating. Their body shape inspired us when creating the body design of the Q30 concept.”
