Audi presented the Q5 facelift

The German car manufacturer Audi has published the first information about the facelift of its popular Q5 SUV , which has been with us since 2008 and is therefore exactly halfway through its life cycle.

However, four years in production did not have much effect on the exterior of this attractive model, so the changes are rather cosmetic. A sharp eye will notice the new radiator grille with chrome ribs, the new bumper with integrated fog lamps and the new main headlights with an integrated strip of LEDs around their perimeter. At the back of the car, we can notice a modified diffuser and oval tailpipes of the exhaust system.

The power units deserve much more attention, for which the automaker promises to reduce consumption by up to 15%. The diesel base will continue to be a two-liter four-cylinder TDI with an output of 105 kW (143 hp) and a torque of 320 Nm. Like the other engines, it is connected to the Start/Stop system as standard, which means a combined consumption of 5.3 liters for every 100 kilometers. If someone doesn't like a four-cylinder, they will have a more powerful six-cylinder with a displacement of 3.0 liters with an output of 180 kW (245 hp) and 580 Nm of torque.

The gasoline engines are represented by a four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI with an output of 165 kW (225 hp) and 350 Nm of torque and a six-cylinder with a displacement of 3.0 liters with a maximum output of 200 kW (272 hp) and 400 Nm of torque.

However, the list of power units does not end there. The Audi car company is also thinking about the ecological note and offers a hybrid powertrain, the basis of which is a two-liter TFSI gasoline engine connected to an electric motor. The power of the entire system is 180 kW (245 hp) and 480 Nm of torque.
