The French car manufacturer Renault presented its new flagship, the Talisman model, at the International Auto Show in Beijing . It is built on the basis of the Samsung SM7 and will be intended only for the Chinese market. Therefore, Europe is sharp in this case.
After all, there is nothing to be surprised about. In Europe, the upper middle class is firmly ruled by the premium trio from Germany, which is hardly supplemented by models of Japanese provenance, and there is no indication that the situation should change in the foreseeable future. On the contrary, the Chinese market contains enormous potential, which Renault intends to use with the Talisman .
And that could easily be achieved, as Talisman offers an interesting mix of fresh design and modern technology for a base price of under one million crowns. In this case, the drive will be provided by a 2.5-liter six-cylinder with an output of 140 kW (190 hp) and 243 Nm of torque. Those interested in a more powerful drive unit will then be able to reach for a six-cylinder with a displacement of 3.5 liters producing 190 kW (258 hp) and 330 Nm of torque.
