Tata has upgraded its best-selling model

The Indian car manufacturer Tata has been reportedly drowning in economic problems lately, and the cause of these problems is none other than the small Tata Nano . The image of the brand is at least slightly improved by its bestseller – hatchback Indica V2 , which has recently undergone a facelift.

So what has changed? According to Tata, the chrome front mask is new, and to make sure the chrome is not enough, a chrome strip has been added in the rear. In addition to these details, both bumpers and flashing lights in the rear-view mirrors are also new. The interior received a new four-spoke steering wheel and a more luxurious- looking two-tone design . The Indigo eCS sedan also offers the same interior.

Mechanically, the Indica V2 primarily features a new five-speed gearbox with smoother operation and less vibration. The front axle has also undergone modernization, which should offer more comfort than before. There can be two diesel engines under the hood. In the V2 version , it is a 1.4 with a power of 49.5 hp and a torque of 85 Nm, the more powerful version eV2 also offers a 1.4, but with a power of 70 hp and a torque of 140 Nm. New in the offer is the CNG-burning version , which uses a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with a power of 65 hp (only 56 hp when driving on CNG).
