Fiat has slightly modified the models of the Scudo series

One of the best-selling cars in the light commercial vehicle segment has been modernized. Fiat Scudo (twin of Peugeot Expert, Citroën Jumpy and Toyota ProAce) offers richer equipment and improved design .

It is quite difficult to recognize a facelift from the outside. The only visible change is the new grille , which optically moves the car closer to the larger Ducat. Inside, it's a different story. The first change is the new three-spoke steering wheel , behind which sits modified alarm clocks (in the Panorama version with a chrome frame). The center console, which received a gray background, is of better quality.

However, the main task of the facelift was apparently to expand the equipment. For the unchanged price, the SX version also gets at speed, rear parking sensors, radio with CD and MP3, Bluetooth and electric mirrors. There is also air conditioning and fog lights. For the highest version, called Panorama Executive , Fiat has prepared two-zone air conditioning with vents for the rear rows of seats, a rain sensor, front and side airbags, electric mirrors and windows or tinted glass.

The range of possible versions is very rich. For companies that need capable delivery, there is the Cargo version . It is offered with two wheelbases (3.0 m and 3.12 m), two body lengths (4.80 m and 5.13 m), two heights (1.94 m and 2.28 m) and two cargo space lengths (2 .25 m and 2.58 m). The cargo area itself will then transport 5000, 6000 or 7000 liters of cargo with a total load capacity of 1000 or 1200 kg. Under the hood of the van version can be one of three engines – 1.6 MultiJet (90 hp), 2.0 MultiJet (130 hp) and 2.0 MultiJet Power (165 hp). All engines meet the Euro 5 emission standard.

If you need to transport more people, you can choose one of the three personal versions of the Scuda – Combi, Panorama Family and Panorama Executive . While the Combi is still more suitable for transporting workers (5 seats + cargo space), the Panorama versions work reliably as luxury minibuses. Like the van versions, the passenger models are offered with two wheelbases (3.0 m and 3.12 m) and two body lengths (4.80 m and 5.13 m). There can be two engines under the hood – 2.0 MultiJet (130 hp) and 2.0 MultiJet Power (165 hp).

A special case is the Scudo without superstructure , i.e. as a "bare" chassis. This version is ideal for creating your own car – for example a refrigerated truck, a motorhome or a mobile shop. The wheelbase of this body type is 3122 mm, the maximum load is 1400 kg on the front and 1700 kg on the rear axle.

In most countries, the new Scudo should start at 14,200 euros (approx. 365,000 CZK) without tax. Vendors should now be accepting orders for the upgraded worker.
