Alfa Romeo has modernized its smallest model

The Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo has had the MiTo model in its portfolio since 2008, when the successor to the three-door 147 began to be produced. However, yesterday it was revealed that the Italian brand has quietly introduced the MiTo in a modernized form , but really only the details have been changed.

After looking at photos of the facelifted Alfa Romeo MiTo , you'll notice some minor updates, such as the chrome front grille from the Giulietta or sleeker headlights. A set of 15-inch Impression alloy wheels has even been revised. The small Italian hatchback will be available in a total of ten shades, including the new Anthracite gray paint.

In the cabin we can find modernized dashboard and three new upholstery combinations. For a certain additional fee, it is possible to purchase the new Uconnect information system with a five-inch display and Bluetooth, iPod, USB or AUX connection for the small Alfa Romeo.

Under the hood, there will be a new 0.9 liter turbocharged twin-cylinder TwinAir , which has a power of 105 horsepower and a torque of 145 Nm. With this power unit, the Italian "little guy" accelerates to 100 km/h in 11.4 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 184 km/h. Future owners can expect average fuel consumption of 4.2 l/100 km and emissions of 99 g/km.

The modernized Alfa Romeo MiTo will be sold on the Italian market within a few months, and the price tag starts at 14,800 Euros (about 381,000 crowns in conversion).
