BMW presented the third generation SUV X5

The new generation BMW X5 is here. The founder of the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) segment and the most successful car in its class is already in its third generation, which is different and yet almost identical to the previous ones.

The appearance of the new X5 does not surprise. The designers of the Munich car company put together elements of the smaller X3, the new generation of the 3 series, the modernized 5 series and a little something new. They mixed everything and it turned out to be a rather tasty cocktail. The main headlights are dominant , which are smoothly followed by the main headlights (they can be equipped with LEDs). The front bumper borrows its appearance from the modernized 5 series, at the back, connoisseurs will definitely recognize the smaller X3. Overall, the new X5 looks sleeker than its predecessor, compared to which the body is also more aerodynamic.

Compared to the second generation, the new X5 has grown slightly . It has a length of 4886 mm, a height of 1762 mm and a width of 1938 mm. This means an increase in length of 29 mm, width of 5 mm and a decrease of 14 mm. The wheelbase, 2933 mm, remains the same.
