Mercedes slightly modified the Sprinter van

One of the best-selling cars in the category of vans up to 3.5 tons , the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter , has reached about halfway through its life cycle. Such a meta usually means modernization , and it is no different in this case.

Rather than looks, however, Mercedes focused on technology . Diesel units that meet the strict Euro VI emissions standard have been put under the hood. The offer includes four- and six-cylinder engines with power from 95 to 190 hp . There is also an alternative – the Sprinter has a turbocharged 1.8 unit with a capacity of 156 hp, which burns natural gas in addition to conventional gasoline. There are two transmissions to choose from for the engines – a six-speed manual Eco-Gear or a seven-speed automatic 7G-Tronic Plus .

If we ignore the news under the hood, the appearance of the car has also received a slight revival . The front part will impress with new headlights, mask and bumper, in the rear part of the car there are new group lights. The interior received new upholstery, a thinner rim of the steering wheel, a new head of the shift lever, a new generation of navigation with radio and Bluetooth, and additional aluminum decor.

Dealers will start accepting orders for the new product in June, and customers will receive them in September.
