The wave of compact SUVs or urban crossovers is on the rise. For the upper echelons, there's the Mercedes-Benz GLA or the BMW X1 . British-Chinese MG will target those who can't afford a luxury German machine with its new model, which is called the CS Concept in conceptual form.
What cannot be missing is a dramatic and aggressive design , which does not lack a lot of edges, breaks and folds. The radiator grille, a signature feature of the new era of MG cars, is complemented by bold bumpers, adventurous-looking underbody protection and large wheels. Anthony Williams-Kenny simply succeeded in designing the car.
As with a lot of Shanghai news, that's pretty much all we know about the car. However, speculation speaks of the use of the MG5 model platform and serial production from 2015. Under the hood, there should be turbocharged gasoline units with a volume of up to two liters, as well as a diesel engine with a volume of 1.9 liters. Prices should start at 17,500 euros (approx. 453,000 CZK).
