It's not just physically exposed cars that abound in Geneva . Sometimes you can come across some speculation here and there. The latter are very interesting, as they relate to one of the best-selling models of the Skoda car company .
The new Fabia is supposed to be wider (finally) and mainly lower than the current variant. Indirectly, this could mean that the third generation Fabia will look sportier than before. A render by the Slovak graphic artist Cypa suggests how the car could be presented in a year.
Even in the third generation, you can count on the offer of hatchback and station wagon bodies, as well as the sharp version of the RS. Skoda has not yet indicated exactly which engines will appear in the new product. However, due to the large number of state-of-the-art TSI and TDI engines, the deployment of these units can be expected.
The technology used will also jump a level higher. Although we will not see all the conveniences as in the new Octavia , it will finally be possible to connect the mobile phone to the multimedia system.
Sales of the new Fabia are scheduled to begin in 2014 . Whether the model will be shown this year in Frankfurt or a year from now in Geneva is still a question.
