Complete information about the new Alfa 4C

We have known for some time that the Italian brand Alfa Romeo will finally (!) present a new sports model 4C at the Geneva exhibition . Today we got to see that fateful day, and the Alfa Romeo 4C in the coupe version really stood out on the stand. Although it was not a surprise, the automaker still surprised us, namely that the first thousand produced units will be in the exclusive Launch edition .

Yes, indeed only 1000 units will roll off the assembly lines for now, of which 400 are for Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Another 500 pieces will go to North America and the remaining 100 to the rest of the world. As standard will be a carbon aero kit, Bi-LED headlights with a dark background, an aluminum diffuser at the rear, a set of 18" front and a set of 19" rear alloy wheels, under which there are red brake calipers. In addition to all this, there is also a racing exhaust system with a BMC air filter and a specially calibrated chassis. The future owner of the new 4C can choose from two offered colors – Carrara White or Alfa Red .

The new sports model, with a wheelbase of 2380 mm, from the Italian car manufacturer measures 3990 mm in length, 2000 mm in width and 1180 mm in height. The Alfa Romeo 4C is built on a special carbon chassis that weighs only 65 kg and the engine is located in the middle. More precisely, there is a turbocharged four-cylinder 1.75 TBi with a power of 240 hp and a torque of 350 Nm at 1700 revolutions per minute. Power to the rear wheels, where there is also a limited-slip differential , is transmitted using a six-speed dual-clutch transmission TCT . The latter uses new software and sports Launch Control Mode . The newly introduced 4C accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 250 km/h, no wonder it weighs a beautiful 895 kg without the driver.

The sports car boasts an overload of 1.1 g during acceleration and 1.25 g during maximum braking. We find double wishbones on the front axle and McPherson struts on the rear. In the Alfa Romeo 4C , the weight distribution is 40:60 for the rear wheels. The steering does not offer a booster, due to the reduction of the weight of the entire car and a better feeling of the steering.

The all-new Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition will be offered on the European market with a starting price of 60,000 Euros including VAT (approximately 1.53 million crowns). For now, we don't know when the sales will start, but you can order now.
