The Adam Rocks study was created for people looking for personal freedom off the beaten path. The creators of the study were inspired by urban parkour athletes . Compared to the serial model, the study is slightly taller, has a wider track, a more robust and compact appearance. The confident appearance of the 3.7 m long study is completed by the prominent structure of the radiator grille, LED headlights and boomerang-shaped turn signals. The individuality of the design is enhanced by large 18-inch wheels with colorful decorative elements.
The feeling of personal freedom that Adam Rocks provides is further enhanced by the electrically operated retractable fabric roof , which allows an unobstructed view of the sky. The textile part fills the entire width and length of the roof up to the rear pillars of the body. The roof is "intelligent" – a special system monitors the weather via the IntelliLink color touch screen , and based on information about the approaching change in weather, the roof is automatically retracted.
Opel would also like to apply similar technology to its future production vehicles.
