Abarth will present an individualization program in Geneva

The Italian car manufacturer Abarth , which practically only focuses on modification of existing Fiats, will flood Geneva with several modifications of the retro hatchback 500 with the designation 695 .

This will develop the individualization program Fuoriserie , which was outlined last year in Paris by the Abarth 695 Olio Fiat . Two branches of this program will be presented in Geneva. The one labeled New Heritage will offer cars that will refer to the brand's rich racing past, the branch called New Wave is supposed to be a kind of fresh and modern wind in the car company's offer.

The first branch labeled New Heritage is represented by the 695 Record and 695 Scorpione models, respectively, and the second by the 695 Hype and 695 Black Diamond models. All four models offer, compared to the classic 500, a new color in a matte glossy combination, and with the exception of the Record and Scorpione models, the paintwork is two-tone. The Record model is further distinguished by a larger rear spoiler, and all four models offer a newly upholstered and differently colored interior, including sports seats and a new audio system.

Of course, there are technical changes. The biggest one is the strengthening of the turbocharged four-cylinder 1.4 by 20 hp (now 180 hp), mainly thanks to the use of Garrett turbocharging. Thanks to it, the 695 accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.95 seconds and accelerates to 225 km/h. Brembo disc brakes with a diameter of 305 mm take care of proper stopping. Record Monza exhausts are in charge of the concert.
