Citroën is only presenting the new C4 Picasso as a concept – for now.

It's not even five days since the new generation MPV C4 Picasso was spotted in Spain . Its design has indeed aroused rather negative emotions, but Citroën has shown today that it is serious about its bold design.

Through the Technospace concept, he practically confirmed the photos of the test prototype from Tuesday. So we can really look forward to a strange-looking front end, including a narrow strip of LEDs instead of headlights. The rear will remain the more conventional part of the car for now.

The interior of the concept is very close to serial production in its appearance. The dominant feature is the multimedia system screen at the very top of the center console. Look for the digital version of the alarm clocks in the chapel with the display.

The Technospace concept is based on the new modular EMP2 platform . Thanks to it, the MPV has a length of 4.43 meters, a width of 1.83 meters and a height of 1.61 meters. For now, the automaker does not mention the size of the interior.

The concept model is powered by the e-HDi unit , which, according to available information, emits only 98 g of CO2/km. However, don't expect dynamic parameters from the French brand.

The Technospace concept will be presented in a month in Geneva , the serial form embodied in the C4 Picasso model will follow at the Frankfurt IAA in the fall of this year.
