Suzuki S-Cross goes into series production

We have known for some time that the Japanese brand Suzuki is preparing a successor to the SX4 crossover, and yesterday the automaker released two image teasers and a teaser video for this very fact . It is a kind of pre-premiere taste of the serial new crossover, which will be based on the S-Cross concept .

If you remember correctly, the mentioned S-Cross concept was revealed at last year's Paris Motor Show, and according to the latest information, it looks like the production form will be named differently or will keep the current SX4 marking. All this will be confirmed at the premiere, which takes place in a month at the exhibition center in Geneva . The conceptual study offered a length of 4310 mm, a width of 1840 mm and a height of 1600 mm. The wheelbase is 2600 mm. We could see the Suzuki S-Cross Concept on 20-inch alloy wheels with 235/55R20 tires.

The new crossover will have front-wheel drive as standard, but all-wheel drive will be available for an additional fee. The upcoming model promises a spacious interior and the largest luggage compartment in the segment. Upon market entry, the SX4 successor will compete with the Nissan Qashqai .
