The second generation of the three-door Korean hatchback Kia Pro_Cee'd was presented at this year's Paris Motor Show. Then the management of the car company announced that it is planning an even more powerful and sharper design with the name Pro_Cee'd GT . The first teaser of the new model was released yesterday.
The powerful Pro_Cee'd GT will be sold in a traditional three-door variant, as well as a five- door version, and we may even see a sharp station wagon . The car will boast a unique design, sports suspension and 18-inch alloy wheels. A 1.6 -liter turbocharged four-cylinder GDI gasoline engine with an output of 200 horsepower will move under the hood. It will be transmitted through a six-speed manual gearbox to the front axle. The new Pro_Cee'd GT will become a competitor for the Volkswagen Golf GTI and the Ford Focus ST .
The premiere of the model with three and five doors is expected at the Geneva exhibition in March next year. The van, if confirmed, will arrive later. Sales will begin by mid-2013.
