Mugen , the in-house tuner of the Japanese Honda brand, has revealed its latest modification package for the current generation Civic model , and has also released the first information about it. The premiere of the modified Civic should take place at the Tokyo Motor Show.
The upgrade package includes a new front bumper, a redesigned grille, aerodynamic side skirt extensions, a rear diffuser, a wing for the boot lid and three different sets of wheels with different colors. If you want to stand out from the crowd even more, you can get, for example, carbon rearview mirrors or more Mugen badging on the Civic . The model offers the following colors – Champagne Gold, Silver Grey, red, blue or black.
Unfortunately, no mentions of a powertrain modification have been released. Now the question is whether Mugen interfered with the engine at all, but let's be surprised. Anyway, we can be happy that Honda is working on a sharp Civic Type-R that will be introduced during 2015.
