Renault Captur 2013 – off-road Clio will debut in Geneva!

The year is 2011, and a concept study of a three-door model called Captur was revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March. About a month ago, pictures of a small crossover , which has retained the name Captur and is about to go into series production, leaked to the patent office.

According to the French car manufacturer Renault , the online premiere will take place on Friday, January 11, 2013 , but even before that it published the first official teaser of the incoming model. These events will be followed by a debut at the Geneva show in two months.

Renault Captur , if you want an "off-road Clio", will be built on the modular platform B from the Renault-Nissan alliance, which is also used by the fourth generation Clio or Nissan Juke . Upon market entry, the new Captur will compete with the upcoming Peugeot 2008 , the extravagant Nissan Juke and the Opel/Vauxhall Mokka . The engine range has not been revealed yet, but the Captur is expected to offer the same or at least similar petrol and diesel powertrains to the new Clio.
