Lexus is considering production of the LF-LC concept

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show, the Lexus LF-LC concept received positive reviews from the public, and this praise has led the company to consider a production version.

Lexus brand general manager Karl Schlicht said the chances of producing the concept are right in the middle. He also added: “Every manager of Toyota Motor Company is aware of the great success and now we are talking about the reality of putting the car into the production process. If series production is confirmed, it will certainly become the flagship of its brand and take the place of the LFA supercar.” Technically, the production LF-LC will be based on the LS 600h model. The novelty could compete with the Mercedes SL and CL as well as the Munich 6 series.

No decisions have been made yet, but Schlicht added, "We would never go into production from a paper design, but a lot of people who saw our concept quickly fell in love with it."
